Chester Zoo Induction Week Trip - LEVEL 4 SCHOOL OF NATURAL SCIENCES ONLY

This is an optional day trip to Chester Zoo for students in the School of Natural Sciences only.
There is a small cost of £10 associated with this trip which is a substantial reduction on the normal entry to the zoo. You will have the opportunity to explore the zoo and get to know your fellow classmates in an informal setting.

You must ensure that you complete checkout before 5pm on 8th October (this is so we can confirm numbers with the Zoo).   Please note that the checkout may stay open after 5pm, however we will not be able to book you a place if you complete checkout after this time.

You must also ensure that you complete the following "field trip forms" by 5pm on 8th October – this is to ensure that we have any relevant medical information – if you do not complete the forms you will not be able to attend even if you have completed checkout. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds once you have confirmed your place on the trip.

You will be expected to make your own way to the zoo as it is close enough to walk and has easy transport links from Chester. There are instructions here for how to get to the zoo. The X1 bus can also be used to get to the zoo.
You will need to arrive by 9.45am so that we can check you all in and enter the zoo when it opens at 10am.
There are toilets located around the zoo.
You should wear sensible clothing - appropriate footwear, waterproofs, sunglasses/suncream and a hat if it is hot?!
You will need to bring a packed lunch or money to buy something with you and you should make sure that you eat breakfast before you leave.
You will need to bring any medication you require with you.
