Languages For All: Modern Languages Evening Courses

Our part-time evening courses run for 20 weeks at our Chester campus (6.30 - 8.30pm).

All courses are scheduled to run from week commencing 13th October 2025 until w/c 16th March 2026, including a 3-week Christmas break (Christmas break starts 22nd December and classes will resume w/c 12th January).

We offer various levels of study for the following languages:

• Arabic
  • Regrettably, Year 1 and 2 will not run this year
• French
  • Year 1 is now full
• German
  • Year 1 will now take place on Wednesdays
  • Year 2 is now full
• Italian
  • Year 1 is now full
  • Year 2: Thursday is now full, but there are still spaces available for Year 2: Monday
  • Regrettably, Year 4 will not run this year
• Japanese
• Korean
• Mandarin
• Portuguese
  • Year 1 will now take place on Mondays
• Spanish
  • Year 1: Wednesday and Year 1: Thursday are now both full
• Welsh
  • Year 3 will now take place on Tuesdays
