University of Chester English Language Test (UoCELT)

For applicants who do not have a recognised English language test or an acceptable in-country English language qualification, the University of Chester has developed its own online English language test. Candidates will be tested in all four areas of English language proficiency and will be benchmarked against the CEFR framework.  This assessment is recognised for visa purposes and is eligible to offer holders only. 

The UoCELT gives applicants an excellent opportunity to demonstrate they can meet the required level of English or determine whether a student needs any additional English language support – either before or during their studies.
